Jump Suit is a documentation of the cleaning process of my jump suit
which i was wearing during working in my studio. It is a nostalgic piece for
that particular time. The artist is spending and showing this with a respect
by giving the jump suit to a dry-cleaning place and shooting the video and
the sound during this process. The nice part about the sound and the video
together is that it is that performance of the cleaning that remixes the sound
and the introduction of class labor noise into the broadcast of the popular
music of another time. The guy working at the dry cleaning shop is always
listening to music and at the same time cleaning and I recorded the sounds
of the machines that he is using as a kind of instrument mixed into the radio
broadcast, it is interesting because if you listen , he is playing along with
the music in a kind of duet. At the end it is a piece that involves respect
for all of the people working and all of the people that knowingly or unknowingly
helps to make an art piece.
