Installation, used material; ice - cream cone
Im/migration was exhibited in Youth Action II. This work is made with ice cream
cones that are installed upside down standing on their crackled pieces. The
group exhibition titled ‘deterritorization.’ The upside down installed
ice cream cones resembles tents in their form. Ice cream cone is a material
that holds ice cream. But an ice cream cone without an ice cream becomes an
object whose signified is blurred. Ice cream cone is a fragile and perishable
material that brings about a relation to im/migration makes im/migrants fragile
and penetrable as a result of a spatial and temporal change.
